He dashed up along side him, 12 pizzas in hand and a rather large container set on top. His other hand held a bag filled with drinks. “Hey Dick, good to see you here.” His smile was as bright as always. “Heads up, Wally is giving me the silent treatment. He had to admit that having Barry here was actually a big relief and he lets out a breath he hadn’t even known he had been holding. He smiles over at Wally’s uncle, taking note of the enormous amount of food with a passing glance
“Hey.” he chirped. An impish grin spread across his face at the promise of a story regarding his fiance’s younger years.
“No I don’t believe you have told me this story.”
Of course, the second that someone was knocking on the door, Steve had to rush to keep Probie from attempting to break it down in excitement. The gigantic Belgian Sheepdog loved people, bless him, but he was just so damn excited all the time. And when he finally did, he was slightly red in the face from laughter, and smiling warmly. “Hey, you two. Come on in.”
